Jennifer rosa is an artist’s collective from Vicenza, Italy, active since 2005.
The body, the human figure, presence, the time of being and of occuring: these are the main themes of an exploration which is articulted through performances, videos, video-installations and photography.
Starting from a group of authors and performers having basically a contemporary dance background – Chiara Bortoli, Francesca Raineri, Francesca Contrino, Vasco Manea -, the research has been gradually expanding towards performing and visual arts, also through the collaboration of the video-artist Fiorenzo Zancan and of the photographer Andrea Rosset.
Their work have been presented during festivals, events and exhibition in Italy, France, Germany, United States, Uruguay. The exposition “Impersonal Solo Show” at Laconia Gallery in Boston (Septembrer 2014) was reviewed by Peter Kalb in the art magazine Art in America.
